Returning home from our excursion in Haiti brought a flood of relief to see loved ones, familiar places, and home-cooked food. A short weekend before returning to Purdue did not allow me much time to relax, but as I reflect on my time in Haiti --- I realize there is a need to continue our learning, education and outreach.
Tonight starts the first in ~16 class sessions where our entire group will get to meet and discuss our Haitian adventures and findings -- to resolve where we can fulfill future needs and guide groups in successive years.
Although short -- our trip was definitely eye-opening and meaningful. I look forward to meeting tonight and brainstorming ideas for future endeavors.
