The road system in Haiti has been less than stellar, to say the least. Every bump we hit sends my stomach up and down...and aches a full bladder. Headed to climb the Citadel--we hit a large rock and had to stop the bus to make sure we didn't lose a part or cause a leak. Every roadtrip is long, tedious, and uncertain. Punctuality is the least of our concerns. Every night making the trek up to Comier Place makes me feel sick.. but once arriving I feel relieved to have my feet on solid ground.
