Despite wind, rain and delays, we finally made it to JFK. The three hour delay unfortunately threw off the dinner plans for this evening, not to mention putting Quentin waiting on us to arrive in New York. Bananagrams, card games and flash mob planning filled up the spare time. The weather would have put a dent in things had the group attitude been low, but collectively, we fared well and are now settled into the hotel. Tomorrow's travel commences at 4 am. We still need to meet up with Maddie; she was delayed in Pittsburgh, so hopefully arrangements get made soon for her. Meanwhile, pizza in belly and group meeting complete, we are ready to hit the hay and see what tomorrow may bring.
